method plug
my beloved smarty dish method dishwashing detergent tablets were at the top of consumer reports best cleaners. this is not a very sexy post but environmentally friendly cleaning products have gotten a bad reputation that is not entirely undeserved (ahem, seventh generation your dish detergent sucks) but i am pleased with almost* every single method product i have ever used.

first spring project...
was raised beds! we sell kits at work so i had the guys build some and they look great. these are 4’x6’ and are made out of pressure treated lumber. i was wary of using pt wood but the studies i’ve read are that the chemicals leeching into the soil is so minimal that it’s not an issue. i’m still thinking of going back in and lining with plastic or flashing.

i’ve been down on humanity lately. we disappoint me. from hearing so-called christians screeching that “healthcare is a privilege not a right” to the constant jabs i get for not eating meat from so-called friends (the worst part is that i make it a point not to discuss it unless asked,) i get perturbed. so it’s comforting to see these:

resolutions
i do not normally make new year’s resolutions. but i made one this year. and i’m actually following through! i’m attempting to teach myself the technical side of photography and to learn all of the bells and whistles that my camera has to offer.

bovine adventures
i’ve always wanted to stop and photograph the land in the pictures below. it’s a beautiful farm on hwy 81 on the way to winder. i’d love to know who owns it because i’d like to take more on the property. not my best photography by far. the cars screaming by had me out of sorts. but i plan to go back.

so i know it's been a while...
and some things have changed.
