broken ground
ground has been broken! pictures to follow. i went down there while the guy was grading. i’m sure he thinks i’m nuts running around taking pictures of dying trees. they make terrible sounds when they snap and the bulldozer looks like a monster eating them up.
in other news, our builder had a death in the family so everybody send good thoughts, vibes, prayers his way.

today is matthew’s birthday. he is 33. i told him not worry, he’s still very immature. so happy birthday honey!
in other news, there is equipment on our land! a bulldozer is sitting there. waiting to eat up trees tomorrow. our builder had a family emergency today so i’m sending good thoughts his way.

as if i haven’t thrown enough shit up here today. i found some code that enables comments. i don’t know how well it works or if anyone can comment or if anyone is even going to bother. but it’s there if you need it and (nice/or snarky) comments are always appreciated.

i have started and abandoned a few blogs. i have higher hopes for this one. it has a purpose. my beloved and i are setting out to build our very first home, henceforth known as cat ranch v2.0. it has been over a year in planning and finagling but the time has come to actually break ground. i still can’t believe it.
