cat ranch

the curtains are dupioni silk that i bought from fabric.com for like $7 bucks a yard.  i love them.  the ikea hardware is ok, the tension wire could be better but i should have used anchors.  it was my first attempt at drapery hardware and i’m pleased.  i’ve got to go back and add anchors to a few spots.

the chair in the corner has two black and white curtain panels i bought from ikea draped over it.  the kitties love this little corner.

so far i’m loving my room, at first i wasn’t sure how to decorate with the neutral walls.  but as you can tell, i’m finding ways to incorporate color.  i’ve got to get more fabric for some throw pillows and maybe a headboard.

i also am planning on selecting some of my photos and printing/framing them to hang above the bed.
